Compressor ownership cost: electricity, parts and service labour
Purchase price is only part of the budget. Compare scenarios over the same period and explicitly identify all included costs.
Use a consistent basis
Use the same operating hours, currency and equipment scope for each scenario. Calculate energy from average electrical power, hours and tariff. Motor rating, actual package input power and efficiency are different quantities; clarify which you enter.
Show maintenance separately
In Optimize, add individual maintenance marks with the full service-kit cost, hours per engineer and number of engineers. Labour is hours × engineers × hourly rate. Each selected mark is counted once within the total operating hours; costs are allocated to the corresponding year.
State the model boundaries
The tool sums selected categories at constant prices. It does not automatically convert currencies or account for inflation, discounting, downtime or residual value. Unselected business costs are excluded, not proven to be zero. Save assumptions with the result.
